The Korean Language Center is an affiliated institution of Kyung Hee University, established and operated to provide Korean language education for foreigners. Although it is an organization that can swiftly initiate new curricula and adopt innovative processes with ease.

In 2021, major changes were made to the Korean Language Center in three areas. First, it started to offer highly discounted tuition rates to students. As Korean language education is a vital part of our responsibility as an institution of higher education, in line with our motto of “Creating a Civilized World”, and is an operation that must be operated within a stable, sustainable system, this scheme arose from the imperative to reduce students’ financial burden to the greatest extent possible while not harming the existence or growth of the institution.

Second, the newly-introduced “Education Satisfaction System” is a guideline and a commitment to fulfilling our strong responsibility to provide the best education to students, so that they can enjoy a high level of satisfaction from our programs provided. We are also determined to exert ourselves to improve education quality by operating everyday direct communication channels between students and teachers, teachers and directors, and students and directors.

We also launched our new website in the summer of 2021. On the website, students can easily check daily news and directly communicate with teachers, administration staff, and fellow students. Moreover, students can access the site smoothly even from their mobile device thanks to its well-organized and good response layout, and English and Chinese translation services will be added as well.

The Korean Language Center is an institution for foreigners who wish to learn Korean “correctly and quickly.” I am cognizant that there are many students who need to meet the Korean language requirements to get into a university in Korea, and I am also well aware that there are many people who are looking for an affordable Korean language institution. Also, I have seen many students who are looking for a place that can provide face-to-face lectures as far as possible, albeit in small groups.

We take all these needs into account when preparing for each course, and we will continue to ensure your passion can translate into your dream.
